Introducing the redesigned Content Edit Page in Brightspot! Experience a more streamlined and efficient way to edit content.

The new rich text editing toolbar is now a single line of tools with a 'More' menu for additional options. This design optimizes available real estate.

Tools are grouped with dividers and collapse together to keep your workspace organized. Developers can customize these groups for better tool management.

Character count, word count, find icon and full-screen icon are always visible and fixed to the right side of the toolbar.

The refactor also includes a new side toolbar that hides the right rail, allowing users to open and close various panels and widgets. This toolbar is always visible on the edit page.

It contains icons that expose a single widget or group of widgets. For example, 'Preview' opens and closes the CMS preview UI, while 'Publishing Tools' reveals the widgets traditionally found in the right rail, such as URLs, Sites, and Suggestions.

The 'Shelf' opens a widget previously displayed across the bottom, 'Version History' shows the widget formerly known as Revisions, and 'Conversations' opens the widget previously below the main edit page."

Clicking a toolbar icon opens the corresponding panel, and the icon indicates its selected state. Clicking again closes the panel, and selecting a different icon switches the panel."

This toolbar is extensible, allowing projects to add their own icon buttons and corresponding widgets.
