Introducing the User Access Widget in Brightspot! This new tool gives users the ability to control who can see and edit draft content within the CMS, ensuring your work remains private until you're ready to share it.

The User Access Widget is available on the content edit page, right where the Site Access Widget appears. It allows you to specify whether a specific asset should be visible and editable by other users in the CMS.

Following the same paradigm as the Site Access Widget, you can share content with all users, limit access to specific users by choosing from a list, or restrict visibility to the content creator only.

By default, all users with appropriate roles can see and edit content. However, you can easily adjust these settings to limit access to certain users or keep the content private to the creator alone.

If access is restricted, users who are not permitted to view the content will see a banner notification, clearly indicating that they don't have access.

Administrators can enable or disable the User Access Widget at the site level or globally through the Sites & Settings area under the CMS tab. When enabled, this widget provides additional permissions within the Publishing Tools on the content edit page.

The widget is seamlessly integrated into the new right rail, making it easy to manage content visibility directly within the Publishing Tools area.

Take control of your content's visibility with the User Access Widget in Brightspot. Ensure your drafts stay private until you're ready to share them!
