Easily access your published, updated, viewed and watched content directly from your Brightspot Dashboard with My Activity Widget. Save time searching for relevant materials by having the right resources at your fingertips, helping you find exactly what you need, when you need it.
Introducing the My Activity Widget in Brightspot! This feature helps you find published, updated, and viewed content quickly and easily from your dashboard.
First, navigate to your dashboards. Let's create a new dashboard.
Click 'Add Dashboard Column' and search for 'My Activity Widget.'
You can override the default name to something of your choice and click 'Save.'
As usual, you can add the dashboard to a global site, a specific role, or a specific user. In this example, we add it to a specific user and click 'Save.'
Next, click 'Home' or 'Dashboard,' and you’ll see the new My Activity Widget. Users can filter based on activity types, such as created, updated, or viewed content, content type, or different statuses.
Let's filter by 'Hard Status.' You'll notice users can click on the icon for a quick view to see basic information about the content before viewing the full content.
Even if the user navigates away, the widget retains the last filter and sort selections. So, if you navigate away, your filters will still be applied when you return.
And that's it for the My Activity Widget. It's a powerful tool to make your workflow more efficient.
