A safe place for all your files, Google Drive allows you to store photos, stories, designs, drawings, recordings, videos and more in your Google account and access them from any smartphone, tablet, or computer. So wherever you go, your files follow.
Today, we’re going to look at the new Brightspot integration with Google Drive.
This integration empowers users to effortlessly import Google Drive files into Brightspot, converting them into various CMS content types such as Articles, Sections, and Tags.
Let’s explore the import process.
In this first example, we can observe how easy it is to find your Google Docs using the CMS search interface and then seamlessly publish these as assets in Brightspot.
The conversion process here allows you to convert your Google Doc to an Article, Blog Post, or Document. Then, it’s a simple step to import the asset draft for content editing while retaining synchronization with your source asset in your Google Drive.
The process is just as easy when importing from Google Sheets.
Open the search panel, choose Google Drive File, and pick the Google Sheet. Next, you can choose to convert to Section or Tag. Additional options include configuring field mappings like file’s Display Name and Description. Hit import and your CMS asset is ready.
Brightspot's Google Drive integration streamlines workflows, fostering efficiency, collaboration, and synchronization.
Imagine how easy it is for your Google files to transform directly as assets inside the CMS, offering dynamic publishing synergy between your content platform and external file storage libraries like Google Drive.
