Embedding a logo list module


You can embed a list of logos into the rich-text editor. The list contains the logo for each company contained in the list.

To embed a logo list in the rich-text editor:

  1. From the rich-text editor's toolbar, select image > Logo List.
  2. Using the following table as a reference, complete the fields as needed.
  3. Click Save & Close.
Caution
Inserting or modifying an embedded enhancement does not automatically save the enhancement in the asset. Be sure to save or publish the asset containing this embedded enhancement.


Field Description
List Select one of the following:
  • Inline—Configure a one-off list that is only used here and is not available in search.
  • Shared—Configure a shared list that can be used multiple times and is available in search.
Title Enter a title for this asset. This title is visible to the visitors to your site.
Description Enter a description that describes this asset. This description is visible to the visitors to your site.
Items
  • Select Advanced > add_circle_outline Add Logo.
  • Click search and select the desired logo from the content picker.
  • If the logo you want to add does not exist, click New Logo at the bottom left of the content picker to create a new logo to be added. See Logo for more information.
Title Override Enter text in this field to override the title of the logo as it exists on the actual logo asset you are adding to the logo list.
Link Select one of the following:
  • None—No link is associated to the image, and the image is not clickable.
  • Internal—Links to an asset that exists within Brightspot.
  • External—Links to a URL outside of Brightspot.
Selecting Internal or External displays two tabs: Main and Advanced.
  • Main
    • Internal—Click searchand select the asset to link to from the content picker.
    • External—Enter the destination URL for this logo.
  • Advanced
    • Internal—Select to open the linked asset in the Same Window/Tab (default) or a New Window/Tab.
    • Internal—Specify the Anchor. The anchor is exactly where on the destination page you want the visitor to be taken when they click on this linked logo.
    • External—Select to open the linked asset in the Same Window/Tab (default) or a New Window/Tab.
Call To Action The destination when a visitor clicks the call to action button. Select None, Internal or External.
  • None—No call to action button is displayed.
  • Internal—A call to action button is displayed that links to an internal asset.
  • External—A call to action button is displayed that links to an external URL.
Call To Action Button Text Enter text appearing on the call-to-action button. This text is visible to the visitors to your site.
Person List Enhancement Styles
Template Select one of the available templates for laying out this enhancement.

  • Automatic—If in the List field you selected a shared person list, Brightspot uses the template associated with that list. If in the List field you selected Inline, Brightspot uses the first template in the list of available templates.
  • (other)—The templates in the list are those configured for the person list.
Preset Select one of the following:
  • None—Brightspot aligns the module within the body text using your theme's settings.
  • Custom—Under Choose enhancement alignment, select an alignment. See Enhancement alignment for more information on enhancement placement.
