Brightspot CMS User Guide

Enabling the Users widget

Note
The topics in this section pertain only to Brightspot v4.8. If your project is on an earlier version, this functionality is not available.

By default, any user can access a draft of an asset, either by filtering for it in search or by referencing the Recent Activity widget on the dashboard; however, users may at times want to limit access to their drafts. In these cases, the Users widget on an asset's content edit page controls who can access the draft. In order for Brightspot to display this widget, you must enable it at the site level, or enable it at the Global level for all sites. This topic explains how to enable the widget for all sites.
