JW Player
The JW Player integration provides access to the videos you manage through JW Player. When you identify a video to use, you import it into Brightspot and then add it to assets such as articles and galleries.

This section describes how to configure the integration in Brightspot, make the corresponding settings in your JW Player console, and how to perform an integrated search.
The plugin requires a JW Player Video Cloud account. See Getting Started with Video Cloud Studio.

Runtime prerequisites
- Developer configuration—
- Provide an implementation of
Video
for JW Player videos as a locally stored video object. - Provide a view model for the video implementation.
- Implement an
ExternalItemConverter
to convert a federated search result to the JW Player video implementation. - For a partial set of features, materialize the following into a project:
- Enum IABTier1Category
- Class JwPlayerIdVideoModification
- For the full set of existing JW Player features, materialize the following into a project:
- Module folder
- Package brightspot.jwplayer
- Provide an implementation of
