Subscribing to the content reporting topic

Once editorial content reports have been set up, you can subscribe to notifications that are sent when certain events occur with these reports.

To configure a subscription for the Content Reporting topic:

  1. In the header, click your username > Profile.
  2. Under Main > Notifications > Subscriptions, click add_circle_outline.
  3. From the Delivery Methods list, select one or more of the available delivery methods. (For an explanation about configuring delivery methods, see Delivery methods.)
  4. From the Topic list, select Content Reporting.
  5. Set the Content Reporting Filters by selecting one of these options:
    • Basic Content Reporting Filter—This setting generates reports for all editorial content reports, across the sites you select, when certain events occur.
    • Specified Content Reporting Filter—This setting generates reports for only the editorial content reports that you specify when certain events occur. This setting only covers reports in the site in which it is configured.
  6. After selecting your Content Reporting Filter, you must specify the Events that trigger the notification. You can make multiple selections in the Events field.
    • Successful Report Result—Triggers a notification whenever an editorial content report successfully runs.
    • Failed Report Result—Triggers a notification whenever an editorial content report fails to run.
    • Changed Report Configuration—Triggers a notification whenever a report configuration is changed.
  7. If you selected Basic Content Reporting Filter, you must also complete the following fields:
    1. Select the Sites that contain the reports for which you want to be notified.
    2. Toggle on Only Report Configurations I Created if you only want to be notified when events occur for editorial content reports you created. The default setting for this field is off.
